GenesisCare in the UK launched their first pioneering radiotherapy treatment centre in 2009, as Cancer Partners UK. The centres provide the highest levels of patient-focused care across a network of conveniently located purpose-built cancer centres throughout the country.

Their vision is to offer and provide the most sophisticated and leading edge technology available alongside a consistent attention to patient-friendly, individualised care and treatment.

The Challenge

The challenge for Harrisons Creative was to deliver an exhibition stand ahead of their medical conference that enabled them to promote their new Winsor Diagnostic and Cancer Centre. The centre provides patients across Berkshire, West London and further afield access to state of the art diagnostic and radiotherapy treatment, therefore it was paramount that their message, imagery and communication translated the representation of this to a number of professional healthcare associates.

The aim of the stand was to introduce their new centre, showcase their corporate message and to represent their core values of collaboration, compassion, outcomes and innovation.  The client wanted a stand design that was visually appealing, offered a clean medical finish and that would accompany a large fitted TV set back into the stand, to play their corporate video throughout the day. They also required installation, de-rig and storage after the event. Not only that they called upon the expertise of our sister company Harrison EDS to produce a range of wayfinders and feather flags for another event at they had planned at LEGOLAND.


The Solution

As the client was open to suggestions we worked with our in-house design team to produce a series of options tailored to appeal to the medical sector.

The client decided to go with a freestanding backdrop wall reflecting a simplistic, clean finish, designed as a simple backdrop. The attention focused towards the video that captures footage of the new site in Windsor.

We produced a freestanding exhibition stand that featured two walls offset from each other. One of which incorporated a 48” TV showcasing their looped corporate video. The other displayed a large image, branding and corporate message.
